It is raining Game of Thrones videos from all corners of the world. The Snow Art, The EPIC trailer and now this GOT season 5 DVD video. GOT fans must be the happiest these days.
So while we recklessly spend hours analysing and tearing apart the entire trailer from yesterday, let’s take a step back and appreciate the incredible cast of the series. After all, it is because of them that we feel all the love, horror, passion, hate and vengeance in the series. This GOT season 5 DVD video captures one of the most iconic moments for all Game of Thrones fans: the meeting of Tyrion Lannister and Daenerys Targaryen.
This was the most awaited meet among fans and actors alike. Another thing to note about this potent scene is the fact that Tyrion and Daenerys haven’t met in the book yet. Therefore, there wasn’t a prior reference from George R. R. Martin on how they would meet and what the conversation would be like. HBO had an open field to play the sport they wanted to. Although that gave them a creative outlook towards the entire scenario; it must have been (we cannot deny) equally challenging. After all they were about to bring two of the smartest, brightest and powerful characters on screen together! They wanted to keep it simple and yet memorable for every fan.
GOT season 5 DVD video captures this essence of the video, but doesn’t stop there! They have also presented the excitement of the two actors-Peter Dinklage and Emilia Clarke.
“I think Peter is phenomenal and getting to act with him has been such a gift”, says Clarke in the video.
Game of Thrones season 6 is set to release on the 24th of April and while we wait for it, videos like these really help us kill all that time!
