Ah! Lord! Finally! It’s here! Zoya, we have to tell you this much, the wait was worth it! But please, use another strategy the next time. This entire poster/character looks, putting in the cute dog and the outline to the plot, everything was revealed at a turtle’s speed for us and we almost died of anticipation! Don’t put us through this trauma again, please! Coming to the trailer, just three words, Oh My God! First up, Priyanka, babe you are so sexy we couldn’t take our eyes off you. Ranveer, is that you? Finally playing a rich guy, huh? The look, the costume, the characters, locations and the amazing plot, everything is going the right way for this film. Special mention, Farhan, how? Just how do you manage to play every character with such conviction? The film hasn’t released yet but he looks fabulous! Anushka, we are looking forward to your performance in this one after NH10. Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah are veterans so we don’t even need to mention how brilliant they are.

Plot:
Let’s give you a quick round up of the plot of Dil Dhakadne Do. Kamal Mehra (Anil Kapoor) and wife Neelam Mehra (Shefali Shah) want to celebrate their 30th marriage anniversary and therefore decide to holiday on a cruise liner. They also ask their children Ayesha Mehra (Priyanka Chopra) and Kabir Mehra (Ranveer Singh) to join in. Ayesha (Priyanka) is married but has an absolutely dysfunctional relationship with her husband. Sunny Gill (Farhan Akhtar) plays the third angle to this plot. Kabir (Ranveer), on the other hand, is an absolute spoilt brat. He was born with a silver spoon and therefore hasn’t seen any hardships in life. His father wants him to take over the family business, but Kabir dreams of becoming a plot someday. He meets Farah Ali (Anushka Sharma), a free-spirited, beautiful dancer on the cruise, who follows her heart and dreams of become a world famous dancer some day. She leaves her home in order to pursue her dream. Kabir falls in love with Farah and dreams of achieving his own dreams with her.

The Kabir-Farah love story vaguely reminds us of the Hritik-Katrina plot in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Reports also confirm that the sweetheart Pluto Mehra (dog) plays a crucial role in the film’s climax.
