Everyday Truth And Lies Posters
None of us can say that we are absolutely honest people. There is always a truth behind avoiding a date, meeting or something as simple as a reply to a message. We usually don’t articulate our emotions honestly because we don’t want to hurt people and therefore we lie. Everyday truth and lies are an essential but subconscious part of our beings. Have a look at these posters and you will be able to relate with every single one of them. Either you have been told these everyday truths and lies or you use them for others; pick your side.
The strange part is that lying, by nature, is supposed to make us feel guilty. But here’s a list of lies we use day in and out and yet feel no remorse for doing the same. It goes out to show how these lies don’t usually hold that level of an importance for us and therefore we use them often. Of course, we never admit to it because it can damage our relationships, this is one of the most crucial points of these images. It may not be out there, but it has a subtle, between the lines, presence and that has to be read by each one of us. The images are not age, gender, caste, class specific; they are based on the general human tendency of not hitting off to well with someone else. It’s about being polite (to some extent) and not giving out the bitter truth.
It’s a sarcasm on human relationships; how we aren’t able to be honest about our feelings leading to these everyday truths and lies. The posters are the “it” thing on the internet today. We aren’t too surprised about that.
