The genius is back with Hamari Adhuri Kahani! But which genius are we talking about? There are four in this one! Vidya Balan, Emraan Hashmi, Rajkumar Rao and Mohit Suri, wow! What can possibly go wrong with Hamari Adhuri Kahani when it boasts of such an outstanding team! If the reports are to be believed then the story of the film is loosely inspired by Mahesh Bhatt’s life. Coming to the trailer, it’s such a touching amalgamation of love and hatred, despair and hope, forgiveness and revenge, it just binds you in the very first scene. Rajkumar Rao looks absolutely convincing as the reckless, careless husband. Vidya Balan displays her raw talent like a boss! In portions when she looks scared and worried, you feel it too. Her attempt to save her marriage and her bond with her neglecting, abusive husband is heart wrenching. Emraan Hashmi has come a long way in Bollywood and that’s not a surprise anymore. With Hamari Adhuri Kahani, he brings back the loving, dedicated, sauvé man back in action and performs his role with panache for excellence. And then there is Mohit Suri, the captain of this grand ship who has never gone wrong with his films. Hamari Adhuri Kahani will definitely have a unique narrative style and treatment since those are Mohit’s pet ideas. Since it’s the Bhatt camp, we don’t even need to bother about the music; it’s going to be beautiful like always. Rather, we are already enticed by the beautiful piece played in the background of this much awaited film. Mahesh Bhatt ahs mentioned how this could be a perfect dose for romantics since we haven’t come across a beautiful love story since a while. The first half of the year is about the come to an end and we yet haven’t witnessed a big, worthy hit. Let’s hope Hamari Adhuri Kahani manages to break that and set the tempo for the second half of the year!
