AN EAGLE GIVES MANKIND A STUNNING VIEW FROM BURJ KHALIFA
The video that you are about to see is the most incredible piece of work you have ever witnessed. It’s a bird’s stunning flight from the tallest building in the world (Burj Khalifa). The video was captured on Saturday, thanks to a small camera attached to the eagle’s back. The bird’s eye view was recorded when Darshan, the eagle flew from the top of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, swooping 2,722 feet down to his trainer on the ground. The entire view will take your breath away, practically making you feel as if you are sky diving in slow motion. It also speaks volumes about the bird and the way it has been trained. It manages to spot its trainer at that height and is extremely sharp. It was the highest recorded bird flight from a man-made structure ever! Hopefully, it will find its place in the Guinness Book of World Record (may be it already has!). The video has already got over 3 million views, leaving its viewers spellbound at the sheer beauty of the place. It was also broadcast live on BBC news.
Until now we didn’t even know somebody was actually planning such a stunt from Burj Khalifa! It’s all the more surprising that one could actually train a predator like an Eagle! It’s a rare sight to watch a bird this well trained. One of the reasons the video enjoys immense popularity is because its subject and execution. I mean who doesn’t want to see how the world looks from the top of Burj Khalifa? Plus the camera has been tied on the bird’s back, therefore it gives it’s viewers the feeling of actually flying down from that height and touching ground. There is a section the video where you will only be able to see clouds and nothing beyond that. It’s the most exciting part of this breathtaking video.
We won’t be surprised if someone attempts to do something like this again. This was our virtual sky diving experience to be honest. It will leave you asking for more! We surely want to be eagles in our next birth and touch land from the high skies above us. It is that good!
