Daenerys Targaryen will be the Villain on Game of Thrones
We love her, we adore her and just like anyone else we are in awe of this ‘unburnt queen’. And while all of us squeal and whistle every time she takes her revenge with fire, there is something seriously botched up about that. We believe that Daenerys Targaryen will be the villain on Game of Thrones and not the hero. We know it sounds insane and she is the ‘breaker of chains’ and has worked hard to end slavery blah blah, but seriously; she is going to be the ultimate villain on the show and not the hero we have made of her currently. Here’s why.
She often struggles between her concept of violence and the use of force. And most of the times she isn’t able to distinguish between the two

When her attempts at peace fail, she uses extreme violence to prove her point.

She is twisted and dark. Her empathy wins our hearts, but her idea of revenge is quite disturbing.
Like the time she decided to crucify slave owners in Meereen because they did the same to children. It is all great right now because the ones she punishes are evil, but what will happen when innocents will begin losing their lives?

Her father was infamous for burning his enemies. She is surely following the ‘Mad King’s’ footsteps here.

Moreover, she enjoys watching her enemies burn to death. There is this weird satisfaction and pride on her face when it happens.

Is it really going to be a happy end for Westeros when she will ask her dragons to burn the rulers and her Dothraki horde will abuse the people of the city?
She won’t be able to control all of it, come on!

She is meant to put an end to the White Walkers with her dragons, but that seems like only one part of it, what about the broader perspective?
She has been warned often not to follow her father’s footsteps and yet she is shadowing him somehow. He has one dragon at his disposal and she has three!

No one’s saying she is going to be beyond cruel as Ramsay or despicable as Joffrey was, but we have to consider she does have ‘fire’ to abuse.
Plus, George R.R. Martin is known to pick on the brains of his readers and drench them in such misery. Daenerys having a darker shade would be the ultimate Martin touch, won’t it?
