Game of Thrones season 6 trailer is probably an old story now. Most of us are now looking for potent spoilers and eagerly waiting for season 6 to kick start on the 24th of this month. But someone did a Doordarshan style review of Game of Thrones season 6 trailer back in India and the internet is going bonkers.
For those of you who might not know anything about this popular news channel allow us to give you a little brief about it. The reporters and news readers are incredible polite and maintain a monotone while reporting the news. Believe us, when you hear them “report” the happenings from the trailer you will not be able to hold your laughter at all. While the rest of the internet is busy looking for any rats and spoilers from the sets of the show, these guys decided to take what has already been given and mix it up desi style.
Doordarshan style review of Game of Thrones season 6 trailer has several memorable moments. What we loved the most are the names these guys have given to the characters. They haven’t renamed them, except for Jon Snow (he become Jon Barfila). Then of course the guardians of the night’s watch (our very own crows) become the kauwa samaj. The review may not been as entertaining or enthralling for fans all over the world (simply because of the language barrier), but for the Indians this is pure gold. They have called Theon Greyjoy “Dicky Donor” (LOL)!
