From the Khans to the Kumars and from Kapoors to Roshans, they are all set to entertain you the upcoming year. Here are some of the most epic films we are waiting for the next year.
1Raees
The moment it was announced for Eid next year everyone turned to look at Salman Khan and he nodded with a smile. This is the kind of role that Shahrukh Khan excels at. It suits his age and gives us to witness different dimensions of the actor’s acting prowess.
2Dangal
So after looking at lean version of Aamir Khan in PK, the actor has now beefed up for his upcoming film. He has put on weight to perfectly project the character of a wrestler in such a way that he cannot sit now! If he is going through immense trouble to ensure a perfect physic for the film, imagine how awesome the film is going to be!
3Sultan
So Yash Raj Films just put up an extremely short video on Youtube that did nothing but declared the title of the film with Salman Khan as the lead. We don’t need to tell you how it broke the internet. We are sure it is going to break several records the moment it is out!
4Wazir
We lost it when we saw the multitalented Farhan Akhtar and Amitabh Bachchan share the same frame. The film was to release this month, but has now been postponed to Jan next year. It looks like an epic thriller and has high quality VFX. Cannot wait!
5Jagga Jasoos
So nothing really seems to be working Ranbir’s way lately. Katrina and Jagga Jasoos seem to be his only hope now. We are sure people are going to throng the theatres to have a look at the real-life couple’s chemistry. With Anurag Basu’s direction, this could propel Ranbir’s slow career.
6Fan
Seems like it is going to be Shahrukh Khan’s year, isn’t it? Fan has shocked fans worldwide not only for the story, but also SRK’s look in the film! He is surely working insanely to get it all right. We are already impressed, sir. Good luck!
7Udta Punjab
The moment they said it has Shahid and Kareena in the cast it raised eyebrows. Chill guys they don’t have a single scene together, but the film has a fantastic plot. It focuses on the drug market and addiction in Punjab and Alia plays a key role too.
8Fitoor
It is good news for literature students as the film is based on Charles Dickens’ novel, Great Expectations. Rekha was initially cast as one of the leads, but now she has left the project as she wasn’t convinced with her look for the film. We are really curious to watch Katrina and Aditya Roy Kapoor on screen.
9Mohenjo Daro
Rejoice Hrithik Roshan fans he is coming next year with another dream project by Ashutosh Gowarikar. The film is traced back in history of the Indus Valley Civilization. Just wow!
10Rocky Handsome
Starring John Abraham and Shruti Hassan, the film is a loose adaptation of the Korean film The Man from Nowhere. It’s been a while since we saw a good film from John after Madras Café. We hope this makes up for it.
11Jai Gangajal
Priyanka Chopra is on a roll. The girl has her hand in every pie and has mastered the balancing act between Hollywood and Bollywood. This intense cop drama by Prakash Jha is her next big thing!
12Kapoor And Sons
The film is a love triangle and stars Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan and Rishi Kapoor in the lead. It sounds like a romantic comedy, let’s wait and watch.
13DishoomÂ
It is an upcoming adventure film that stars Varun Dhawan, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Akshaye Khanna. It is directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
14Baaghi: A Rebel for Love
Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor are going to enthrall us with this one. The film is directed by Sabbir Khan. Tiger Shroff’s look for the film is hitting the headlines every other day. Super hot!
15Azhar
Nobody though Emraan Hashmi could pull this off. Then came the trailer and got everyone to shut up. The film has an enviable cast. Emraan Hashmi Prachi Desai Nargis Fakhri Gautam Gulati Kunaal Roy Kapur Huma Qureshi and Manjot Singh; see what we mean.
16Housefull 3
Leave your brains at home if you are planning to watch this. Hopefully this one will redeem Sajid Khan’s career. Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Lisa Haydon that is some cast, no?

17Rustom
So this sums up the four-film quota of Akshay Kumar for the next year. The film is a romatic thriller and is directed by Neeraj Pandey. This duo has broken records every time they have joined hands. We know this one is going to be as good as Special 26.
18Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
Karan Johar is back, yaaay! The film stars Aishwarya Rai, Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor and Fawad Khan in the lead. Going by the name, we are sure that it is an unconventional love story. All in all it is going to be entertaining we know that.
19Shivaay
Ajay Devgn’s dream project also launches next year. The teaser is out, but the story isn’t.
20Shuddhi
So after Hrithik left the project because of health issue and Kareena moved out, Karan has now taken Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead. Several reports say it is inspired from Immortals of Meluha, but Karan clarified and said it isn’t so.
21Airlift
The trailer came out and never left our thoughts. Inspired from true events, the film is about survival in a foreign land. The film stars Akshay Kumar.
