GABBAR IS BACK TRAILER REVIEW: IT’S BADASS!
It’s crazy, it’s badass and it’s finally here. The ‘action man’ of Bollywood is back and this time he is here to teach a lesson to anyone who is even remotely close to bribes. Akshay looks fantastic and fit as always. His salt and pepper beard is surely going to be the next new style statement in the industry. The trailer boasts of serious action and tense drama between a common man trying to bring about a change in the country’s corrupt system and a group of ‘powerful men’ who are trying all means to stop him from doing so. Shruti Hassan looks beautiful and fresh, but we wonder what role she will have in an action film that is absolutely dominated by Akshay from the word Go!

If the film turns out to be as action packed as the trailer with an interesting story line, Akshay may just have bagged another hit after Baby. When does this man sleep? We are so used to seeing him on screen every three months; his fans start having panic attacks when he takes longer than that. This could also be another big hit for Sanjay Leela Bhansali who is already on a roll.
We have also heard Chitrangana Singh has been roped in for a sensuous item number in the film. Also, Kareena Kapoor has a special appearance in the film and is playing Akshay Kumar’s wife. It is said that it’s her death that causes the hero to become “Gabbar” in the film. Gabbar is back trailer doesn’t give out a lot of details about the plot. It surely seems to be something along the lines of corrupt politicians and businessmen and how Gabbar starts a revolution in the country to stop it. Akshay is already winning hearts with his full bearded look; Shruti surely looks a little lost in the film. She needs to make some very smart choices of films before she fades out.
The buzz around this film is already 80% and is set to make its place in the 100 crore club. Anything above that is going to be a bonus. With Akshay, that much is guaranteed.
Well, let’s wait for the first of May to find out more about this one.
